Spring has come... 

Yes, we have May which is the most interesting part of the year for me. All flowers get in bloom and the sun is shining and heating and I can sleep at the window. Last few days it was a great time, because it was Easter holiday and our two-legs friends were at home with us. I was combed and fondled every day. Now I feel fine and my hair looks very good. Many people also came to see my misters. I looked at than very cautiously. As you know I must control my misters friends. I always sat and the free chair and listen to them, but sometimes it was really boring so I slept. Our misstres also bought a nice flower (papyrus). We have had it at home but Scarlett and I we have always eaten it. Now she wanted to multiply it, so she put it to some „secret“ place. Haha – no place is secret for us! We have also found smaller papyrus – and we explained him, who is a head in our flat!

Scarlett wanted to be slim, so she was eating very little food. Now I can say that she is really a nice cat! But I don’t have problems with my body. And during Christmas holiday I was eating a lot of ham, cheese, cat bisquit….and finally i had nausea. That was why I decided to eat healthy! Now I’m eating only meat and only Hill’s cat bisquit.  And If I see myself in the mirror…oooh I’m really beatifull. I’ve got  muscles and nice fur. I’m looking forward the spring. Because I will lie in the window and sun will shine. Now I have to lie on the radiator. And it isn’t the best place. As you know…

What to do in a hot weather...

Oooh! My time has already come. Lounging and sleeping are the most favourite activities of mine - mainly in July and August when the sun is shining. I have got my special methods for these activities. In the morning - when my "tinopeners"  wake up - I start to disturb. I want to drink fresh water and eat my breakfast. Than I start to cry under the window and my mistress realizes to open it. I jump to the window and lay down on. The sun shines on my fur and master teases me. (He says I will be baked even with my fur). I 'm able to lie there for all day. We live on a ground floor - so I'm not afraid of falling down. Once I decided to lay into a flowerpot - I will never do it again because my mistress was angry with me.

Wow! It is incredible! You are reading about the best house cat of the year 2001 now in the Czech republic. It is me! I would like to tell you all the story: My mistress decided to finish exhibit me in 2001. But finally we wanted to reach the top -> I should become a cat of the year. I really wanted to win, I tried to be the best. I Ewem sat on a diet - I wanted to be slim but sinewy - you must understand me. My day finally came. Although I was on that exhibition to recive a prize, I had been a little bit nervous. At 3 p.m. they started to comb my far and then I showed myself on a stage. I was given a medal, golden cup and also something to cat. Oooh I was too happy! When we arrived home, my master took many photos of mine. And my mistress gave me very good chicken meat from my golden cup. It was one of the nicest days of my life. But I can't understand why I'm not given chicken meat everyday....

We finished exhibiting out tom-cat Honzík in 2001. You can ask why did we exhibit him? We wanted to show, that ordinary cat (really ordinary because we have found him) could be succefull. But original reason was a little git strange. We have got some other cat - Scarlett. nd when Scarlett was a kitten, Honzík preserved her. So they had to go together to the exhibition. Because Scarlett was shy and afraid when she was alone in the cage during the exhibition.

Honzík is our five-years-old tomcat.Honzík is something like our fate.Everything began when we found an old poor cat in our garden(someone had shooted her eye).I was very happy that I have found her.I always wanted to have a friend, when I was a child. 
I started to give her milk and some another cat´s food.We started to call her Micinka (typical Czech name for cats).She was very friendly and nice cat.One year later she has brought small kitten. Kitten should be called Mikeš at first but finaly he has recived name Honzík.But Micinka started to be ill and poorer and two years later she died. Then I have moved from my parents house to my own flat.But I was sad becouse my boyfriend(nowadays husband)had to go in a work and I was often alone in the flat.So I decided to take Honzík to our flat.He is stll living hereand I think he is happy.
